How to watch movies in MS PAINT
Here is another geeky trick for all our geeky readers. Using this trick, you can view movies and videos in Microsoft Paint (MSPAINT) - the basic image editing application bundled with Microsoft Windows for free. It is a very simple trick and very easy to use. You can brag about this one in front of your friends and further prove your geekiness.
To watch any movies or videos in MSPAINT, first start the movie in any video player application of your choice - Windows Media Player, Winamp, VLC Player, GOM Player etc.
After the movie starts playing, just take a screenshot of the player by pressing the Print Screen button on your keyboard. It is located just next to the F12 function key on the top right. Keeping the video player minimized, Open MSPaint by going to Start > Run and type “mspaint” or Start > Accessories > Paint. When in Paint, just paste the screenshot you captured by pressing Ctrl+V or Edit > Paste.
When you paste the screenshot, you will see a dynamic image which will still have the movie playing within the player boundaries. Ain’t it nice? Note that you still have to keep the video playing in the player in the background. So this isn’t a standalone trick but nevertheless does the job.
